Case Labels Anyone hear this??

Now the rumor I heard from PM is that we are only allowed to do case labels once a year. Not sure if anyone else has heard this or not. Just curious. My PM isn't one that just makes up things. He had to see or heard it through something.

Hmmmmmmm......................................well....................................The M-38 has this from 343.29 ;

.29 Rural carriers are required to label or relabel cases as necessary.

If THAT'S not enough , there is the attachment. Pay attention to the paragraph immediately under "During the discussion , it was mutually agreed that the following would represent full and complete settlement of this case : "

Case labels to be reduced to once a year due to budget concerns*

That's the skinny from my understanding of it, as the same declaration has occurred my area. About to challenge that soon since at least one route is getting changed and shall be implementing changes to the cell sizes after the labels are put up.

What I figured and that's what I heard. Well I guess I get to lose some more time...... RRECS is awesome

Say it take 45 minutes, and you do that 6 times a year. It literally adds up to 1 minute per day average over the course of the year.

RRECS has way more problems than go worry about a 1 minute a day average.

1 min a day is a lot. 6 mins a week. That adds up.

What about if I get hurt and go out 3-4 months and instead of the 20 to 25 mins to load, it takes 10 mins for sub to load. It all adds up.

Still the point is that it is taking more time away from us carriers when they want us to change them two times a year according to GEMBA rules.

If you have an apartment house added on you can't fo your lables until next year. Does that make sense? No!
You pm is lying again, no pm is reliable.

I usually do touch up's every other week. I do a full reset every 3 months (color coated with highlighters) That full reset usually takes 4 hours. When you have no idea what rca is coming out to run your route you make it as easy as possible. I hated all the cases i ran that had crap "penned" in labels. So i overdo it

You can do it in 45 minutes? Maybe I am to much of a perfectionist who like color coding everything. Takes me 4-5 days at 30+ minutes a day just to color code. One day to put the labels up themselves at 30-45 minutes.
