Speaking of bank time... does anybody know... once you hit 60 minutes (or minus 60 minutes) and a 4003 update is submitted, does that trigger an eval hour change... or could you theoretically have more than 60 minutes bank time??? <img title="Confused" alt="Confused" src="https://www.ruralmailtalk.ruralinfo.net/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-smileys/sf-confused.gif" />

Only if the 60 minute change added or subtracted, from you current evaluation sends you into the next hours range.

Ex. You might need 72 minutes to make your evaluation go up an hour.

You notify mgmt. once that occurs.

Otherwise, if you submit the 60 minutes but it doesn't change your evaluation. You have to gain anither 60 minutes.

So, let me see if I have this straight... say I need 72 minutes to get to the next hour... I accumulate 60 minutes and they update my 4003... then, wouldn't I get a 4241-A that shows that I have 60 minutes of bank time???

And then, if I gained another 3 or 4 boxes, shouldn't I again be able to ask for a 4003 update, and then that would take me to the next hour???

I shouldn't have to gain 60 minutes at each 4003 update, should I??? 60 the 1st time, and then 12 or 13 the 2nd time should get me the next hour, correct??? <img title="Confused" alt="Confused" src="https://www.ruralmailtalk.ruralinfo.net/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-smileys/sf-confused.gif" />

My understanding is 60 minutes resets the bank time.( moves you evaluated hours up but not necessarily your evaluation) Stop at 59. Then add 13. You're OK.

Anyone else feel free to correct me.

Wow, that seems screwy... seems like the bank time wouldn't reset until the next hour (eval) is hit... but, this IS the USPS we're talking about here... My calculators automatically convert the box factor based on your entries for mile,boxes and NDCBU/Centralized boxes. The NRLCA, you have to enter on correct line for your route.

My question is, I have four or five houses that should or could go on line prior to the new evaluation becoming effective. Will they be credited towards bank time or be sucked up into the new evaluation?

No to the contrary, my route will be cut due to being over burdened. I just don't want the new houses to be part of the cut I would like for them to be part of my future growth in bank time!

Well, Friday afternoon my PM FINALLY gave our office our numbers. It looks like I've gone from a 45K to a 47K. He wanted to suck the joy out of my quiet celebration by telling me that I am in the cross-hairs of being cut. No freaking way!! I just went full time in November, I have been questioning the route's time (under evaluated) for several years and now that it's finally where it should have been all along, he wants to cut it? In normal conditions, i.e. - not during the Christmas rush, I have no problem making dispatch. I will do everything within my power to keep it from being cut after I've GIVEN them time over the last 6 years!!
