Can someone explain this I have 545 boxes on this specific day I had 453 dps letters and 18 bundled flats for the day i had 100% coverage for that day on this other day I had 1,275 dps letters no flats but only had 88% percent coverage tell me how can you have 453 letters and 100% and have 1276 letters and only 88% coverage and then on another day 795 letters 600 flats and only 75% coverage

because it is not accurate...simply stated..never has been and never will be...and this is hurting the rural craft tremendously.

Haven’t seen coverage factor in a year, next mms I will get those numbers will be interesting to see we have averaged 3 days of boxholder or wss a week in the last 6 months. Prior 6 months was 2.6 days a week.

It's simple.....they are SCEWING us along with the numbers/coverage. Simply put, they are ROBBING us.....😡😡😡😡😡😡😐

The question is what are we going to do about it, what's the solution, going on 4 years and it's getting worse, come on smart people let's fix this
We can’t fix a system that does not have the capability to actually store and track all data for each individual route for an entire year. The burden of proof falls strictly in our hahds thereby our unions hand to prove as faulty. We nor anyone has unlimited access to this system, let alone the knowledge needed to decipher what is there. In essence very little can we actually do but make sure we log everything we do to get the best eval we can.

My stance rrecs is better than old count, I say this as an Amazon office. We also get ups, dhl drop off. Add in a community who has a printing/graphics company who drops off wss every week on top of weekly boxholder. In essence an almost perfect storm that negates much of the systems short coming. I also realize all of our routes should be higher if the data was absolutely fool proof, and integrated flawlessly with other usps systems. I understand being upset and feeling cheated. Higher ups only see the numbers of hours worked vs paid. It is well documented overall we work far less hours than we are actually paid.

Because the RADAR report is not accurate to the day. It is an amalgamation of data to be recorded for average.
Any full coverage mailing entered by a carrier in the scanner should indicate a 100% coverage on a residential route. If you have businesses, it may not.
Opening a cbu doesn't give you a full address stop credit for the box unless the carrier entered a coverage for the addresses within. Cbu routes do tend to trend very low in coverage factor.
Btw, the mapping of cbu and central delivery can be tricky. You must be very careful of indicating you first box in delivery and last box in delivery per unit. And if the first address is vacant...the system can glitch and not record a delivery, at all to that box until the address is opened to current delivery on edit book.

We noticed and started fighting the % coverage after the second MMS. You can find and use an NRLCA form, or make your own to record daily the # of slots that you don't delivery to on a given day, of course you must case your DPS to do this. After a month long collection of that data we compared it to the % coverage on the radar reports. We found an average of 13-19% discrepancy. We sent it up in a dispute with radar reports for the entire year and it's still sitting somewhere "being looked at".
The dispute system is a fraud, anything wrong with your evaluations MUST be grieved. It may still sit at a 4th step (as DPS reviews currently are) but eventually it must be handled.
13-19% coverage added to what we are currently being paid for
in our office would place us near 90%, which is tolerable.

Did that before I got cut, it went no where. Will I do it again after my freeze is up. I am not sure, I find myself willing to fight less and less when no one else in office does.

carriers should watch what is printed on full coverage as well.

only if it says "residential customer" should the residential option be chosen.

otherwise, it's all deliveries, as businesses are also postal customers. (some routes have mostly residences, with a few businesses thrown in. ever little bit helps.)

fought this under the old mail count system and won. :)

We're in charge of what we enter. All deliveries, always for us, if asked about it, oops wasn't it all deliveries? None of us have been asked.

Frozen or not your data is being saved and will be used against you. Scan the most you can, and scan often.

Oh trust me I do, I get a list every Tuesday to look over from my management. District might catch on I spend more time talking about the list than I get from the entries. All on EoS mind, not a fool I won’t leave a penny on the ground.

Which is where the union done messed up.

You DON'T IMPLEMENT & FIX LATER. The burden of proof went from USPS to now us, and like you said we don't have access to everything.

I actually prefer the old count because it had some extra time built in on stuff where as RRECS, you have to fight for everything and still they won't pay you for things. EXAMPLE: I have nursing home that is curbside delivery. I have to enter it at LEAST 1 a week for certified letter, packages or etc. Even though I can prove it, they won't give me the extra time as MISC TIME. They told me to ask for 30 seconds of 8127. REALLY?!?!?! That won't help. Plus the !@$#@%ING COVERAGE FACTOR BS! I have lost so much just on that.

As far as misc time document it weeks months before mms. 2 weeks prior put in writing with your documentation. Get the pre approval for misc time and no issues. Does this take extra work heck yes, it’s your choice to fight for it or not. I do this every mms even when frozen for misc time waiting for pickups that have national agreement with usps for pick ups. I also do it for another pick up. Locked gate and buzzer to get attention plus wait time. The walking distance is added to that address because that’s also where I give mail ie authorized dismount. It does take a little outside the box way of going about it, but it does work.

Since I didn't do it during count they refuse to do it. It was only 1 mins so I didn't fight it. I am just so tired of fighting for every little tiny thing. It is just so tiredsome.

I understand being tired of it, comes down to your personal choice. What you decide is worth the fight vs what is not. This last year I have really re evaluated which fights I fight and which I just go nope. Some is me having timeline in place to get out. Others are I’m just tired of being the only one in office. So trust me I understand, me getting every cent I can is not a fight I won’t put down. Decide what overall aspect matters the most, fight that at every step. When you have that decided than and only then make the choice if you have the time and dedication to fight anything else.
