My coworker put a leave slip in for this Saturday she is a H route and has a sub assigned to her route.
It was denied by my management because they are using her sub to cover the relief day for a K route in our RMPO. That carrier is not on the rdwl and doesn’t have an adjacent day off.
Our union district rep is siding with management and always does! She said they are allowed to do that to prevent overtime even though she has to take a daca 3.
Is there anything contractual that says otherwise ? Our union is no help…
