Hi I was wondering if you were supposed to fill out the designation 79 option form after you Have been assigned to the aux route for 90 days or since  the day you are assigned.

--  Shared Services in NC will send you a new Form 50 upon completion of your 90 days on an AUX route, changing your designation to 79.

--  The whether to serve the AUX 6 and 0 or 5 and 1 decision probably should be made as soon as possible upon getting the AUX.

I thought in a Formula office you did not have a choice, you had to pick 6 days?

Either way make sure to have management submit the paperwork, there have been 5-6 people in my PO that have not gotten converted to either 74-0 or 79-0 because management did not submit the proper documents.

You are correct. Formula offices do NOT have a choice.

On the 91st day after you are officially assigned to the Aux, let mgmt know to submit for your designation code change.

In addition you should get AL/SL retroactive to when you started the aux not just from 90 days on. Also if you are assigned to a regular route for more than 90 days(sick/hurt/apointed regular) same thing applies as having an AUX.
