evaluation

Not every month but perhaps every time you do mapping. Which should be monthly. If you're on the cusp of an hour one way or another you could definitely fluctuate between two evals. Then you get a new one every 6 months due to the survey if you go up or down.

So 14 times a year for potential pay changes.

Can't imagine why staffing this job is so difficult lololol

is everyone getting anew evaluation every month now? and if so why then and are we still getting a 6 month one as well?
Obviously the Survey and Old Mail count counted other items but....
The MMS , every six months, adjusts the route for any volume changes. ie: Loss of Amazon, gained a weekly full coverage,etc.. It will recalculate your volume factor.
The MMS replaced the "Old Mail Count" . Which was once a year. It also reflected volume changes and recalculated the volume factor.
The Monthly Mapping update is equivalent to the "Old Interim Adjustment Worksheet".
Both allow a route to increase or decrease based on the number of deliveries gained/lost. ( also miles, dismounts and dismount distance)
The Old method required 60 minutes before a change was effective. The New method has no minimum minutes for a change. The New method is in the latest contract. We've been told that carriers wanted immediate changes.
Both Old and New use a formula that includes volume factor. The New formula also includes coverage %.

Did my mapping. It showed i lost 1 box and I knew i didn't mark one vacant in my edit book. That one lost box cost me 7 minutes when mapping was done. I immediately figured out which box was mistakenly marked inactive and redid my mapping right away and only gained back 5 of those 7 minutes. Screwing us over anyway they can.

Why I go thru edit book thru Webez week prior double check every box. When you start mapping separate tab to check address on there dbl check all. Submit the changes wait 10-15 minutes EoS then do the actual mapping. Once a month is usually 2 hrs EoS sometimes more for me. I routinely have a cpl address “drop off”.

If your route is mature, and has no changes in line of travel, in deliveries, etc then the only changes to your evaluations should come as a result of the MMS. Most of our routes have no changes no vacancies (over 90 days) as a few are sold and the new owner hasn't moved in yet, but we are still delivering those new customers so as far as edit book and line of travel etc nothing has changed.
