Explain to me in plain english what this means, so I can tell my union rep what it means😡😡😡🙄

Now, I can read, and I've for Dang sure got my own opinion. I just wanna see if you'all agree with me.....what is it with union people not wanting to take a stand. My pm is pretty decent, most times, and I dont want to rock the boat. I may have to grieve this if it is not clarified by my wishy washy union rep. Rep is a nice person, but not a take names kinda person, I been there trying to grieve stuff when rep has the spine of a jelly fish. It's the equivalent of banging your head against a brick wall....and I'm all out of patience for doing that....appreciate all of you, and look forward to hearing what you think. On a relief day, someone is needed to work. If no leave replacements are available, then they can bring in a LR from another office. Regular carrier who is supposed to be off, has no rights to work; even if on RDWL. If the LR from the other office (or your office and is being loaned out) is scheduled to case and carry a regular route, they are unavailable to work in the borrowing office.

Sometimes, management will split routes instead of going to the RDWL. If one of those splitters is needed in another office, then they can be borrowed.

I've seen RCA's carry a full route in one office and then be told to go to another office for assistance (splitting routes in other office, parcel help, ect) This statement from the RCAM says they are UNAVAILABLE if carrying casing and carrying a full route, and should not be forced to go to another office that day.
