if your relief day is saturday, then friday becomes your holiday.

can they mandate you to work on friday? if yes will that be just a saved X day and a 50% pay.

Yes, Carriers that have Friday as a Holiday can be mandated to work before mgmt utilizes the Friday Relief Day Work List. If you have approved Leave for Thursday then you are protected from working on Friday. Mgmt should ask by Seniority & force by Junior.

Because your Relief Day does NOT move, Friday becomes the Holiday for Saturday Relief csrriers. Holiday work pay is different from Relief Day work. You have 2 options: V or G.
V- paid a day’s wage for working + Holiday Pay
G- an AL day added to your available balance + Holiday Pay
