Going within 50 miles of home office

On another tangent regarding RCA'S and current rules. Some RCA's have no problem covering offices outside the 50 for the $ hustle.

Offices who are short of coverage hate loaning them out. Reason being the outside mileage parameters office is short on coverage too and might make an attempt to Hi Jack that RCA with the promise of more HRS in their APO mix.

When that happens in my office someone takes that day off/bangs in forcing that RCA to cover home office. That throws the other office under the bus to scramble for coverage.

Well, this RCA was given a form to claim mileage for some driver training they had to go to..... so, they asked, can I claim the mileage for travel to the hub office for Amazon Sunday's.... the reply was a flat NO... didn't sound right to me, but I figured I had no dog in that fight.... ?‍♂️:whistle:
Back when I did Amazon Sundays at the hub (not my office) they tried to tell me that it (the hub) was my home station for that day so no mileage was allowed. Obviously I knew it was BS and called their bluff and got the milage. By the way it wasn't much I just did it for the annoyance factor!

The hub office is a pretty good haul for the RCAs here.... probably 40+ miles one way.....

The RCA name for your route might be listed on your time sheet. That does not mean you get Pref treatment for leave. If you have a management team that cares they might ask you first of plans for days when they get slip from another on the same day.

If some other REG in RCA short APO/RMPO mix submits leave prior to you. They get any available RCA on current Maxtrix if day is open. It could be yours.

JS... We are in that situation. Carriers are dropping leave slips one year in advance for any holiday after or for next years vacation plans. Another notice by me on my time sheet despite having a Primary coverage unit that name listing on time sheet says VACANT. It states the same on all other REGS sheet in APO.
Has something changed??? I was under the impression that subs 1st priority was their home office.... when I was a sub.... I could work other offices, but as soon as my home office said they needed me, then I had to go there....
