In our office it is three times. Is this correct?

Surprise! -- "How many days does an RCA work a route on the green card before they sign in as regulars do? "

-- While working the relief day, or

-- Filling in while the regular is out for a vacation or prolonged illness?

-- It certainly has been a while, but I believed when I worked the relief day, I signed the 4240 as I was THE carrier for the day.

Surprise, I'm afraid your pm has pulled the (wool) mail bag over your eyes. If you work a route you are not trained on you receive actual time (all the hours you work , not just evaluation) for the first day you work it. If you help, or work part of a route you are paid on a green card, otherwise always sign in on the 4240 and get the evaluation and the total miles (pov) even if you don't run the whole route, but get help on it.

I'm not positive of the what it says in the contract but I was always able to get the PM of the office I was helping to pay me actual for the first three days I assisted them!

In our office my being an RCA anytime I work the route I sign the 4240 and get the whole day even if Regular is working and I get called out to finish the route I get the whole day(sign 4240)

I just recently got called to help another office - Regular carrier delivered first 5 boxes then returned to PO and went home sick.

They literally hid/took away the 4240 form (it was nowhere to be found - can they do that?) and had me use a green card.

I was super extra safe that day, and made sure to knock and wait at the door during each large parcel delivery.

E, you have a grievance to file if those managers don't agree to pay you the whole day wages for that route plus mileage to and from your home or your original office, whichever is closer. The regular has the option of working through their sickness or going home sick. When on sick leave, the rca gets a whole day's pay, there is no other way to do it unless the day the regular was working was their relief day, then they get 150% for the hours they worked and the rca get's green card time.
