I PUT MY TIN FOIL HAT ON AGAIN

I am an old timer, so I have seen some s**t before but this takes the cake.

We have multiple changes every day, and likely we'll have changes to the count sheet after the count is over.

I counted in the 2002 mail count and that was mild compared to this.

In the past the counts they pushed back on the most were the ones at the end of the contract when we subsequently went without a contract for 2 or more years after that count.

I'm getting a bad feeling that The Engineering Study implementation is a long way off if ever, why else spend all the money and effort to negatively impact results that could be changing in three months.

While we are on that subject, occasionally someone mentions the possibility of back pay for the delay in implementation of the study results.

For those of you who still hold out hope that will actually happen,  read the arbitrators ruling on the 2002 Mail Count grievance.

After the NRLCA won in arbitration they decided to seek back pay for the aprox. 5 year delay. The arbitrator denied that request by essentially saying you should have asked for that in your initial filing, too late now.

A RECENT STATEMENT FROM THE APWU AFTER REACHING A 49.9 Million Dollar Settlement
“Our goal is for management to abide by their contractual obligations in the first place."

Wouldn't that be nice
