--  Same with carriers at my last post office.   Manglement not overly concerned when carriers hit the streets;  just wanted carriers back in time to make the dispatch truck at 6 pm.

--  Unfortunately it also brought some harsh comments by carriers towards manglement, when manglement would let a new RCA leave for the route after 2 pm!

This morning the PM says they have to go off to some meeting somewhere... didn't really say what it was about... then when I come back this afternoon, they're printing off mail count documents, 4239's and such...

Surely to goodness they wouldn't still be mucking around with the mail count numbers at this late date, would they??? 

It's been over 2 weeks since I signed off on the 4241... surely they couldn't or wouldn't be asking us to sign a modified 4241 over 2 weeks after signing the initial one, would they???

D.B. do you ever think they get together and come up with stuff just to mess with us. I picture them sitting around the table throwing out ideas and giggling. Don't ever worry about being paranoid, look who manages us locally and nationally. Paranoid is the normal condition for a Rural carrier.
