I haven’t taken an unscheduled absence in years is it totally mgmt’s prerogative to require an excuse before returning to work even for short absences?
I think the contract or elm isn’t clearcut on this for absences not over 3 days. But for absences greater than that it is clear, you need an excuse before returning.
