Is there an approximate percentage of count out of our DPS?

I have had other carriers ask me in the office.
When they are on their k day or vacation or sick leave, and come back the numbers are VERY low because the subs don’t care to take the time to do it right

If you are looking for a one lump sum percentage, just take the total nixies that were from DPS only and add that to the what the EOR total is for DPS. Then, take THAT number and divide it into what the DPS total from the EOR. Say the EOR says you had 1000 pieces of DPS. You have 67 pieces of mail from DPS that were not deliverable. 1000 + 67 = 1067. So, you take the 1000 total and divide that by the 1067 and you would get .937. So, a 7% number. Or , 6% if you round up. You do it the same way for individual breakdowns. You would just add the total number of CFS pieces to the DPS total. Or, just add the UBBM pieces to the total.

Short answer is NO . After all , the very purpose of the mini mail survey is to determine the average percentage of some categories of mail , these are one of them , so that they can extrapolate for the whole year and give you credit .
I will give you examples with mine —- Saturday DPS was 1387 , upside down was 156 , sum total of what you listed was 39 . Monday my k day . Today the DPS was 1536 , upside down was 525 , sum total of what you listed was 72 . See the wild swing of things !
And yes , it’s a bummer having a not so cooperative and/ or not too knowledgeable sub . I try to keep an eye and talk to them once in a while but largely given up on the idea that I will get a perfect sub

There is no sub that will be able to get the same numbers that a regular pulls from Dps because they won't know the names on pieces that are from old customers. I've seen mailings with former customers from 20 years ago in my Dps. Rca's wouldn't know those customers don't belong there.
