What might cause a 41/42 K route (that went up an hour) to become a 41 J?

Best guess would be that it went from an L route (1.82 min. per box) to a non L route (2.00 min. per box)

(An L route has 12 or more boxes per mile while a non L route has less than 12 boxes per mile)

Check every entry for errors and add all of the daily totals to make sure they match the 4241

EDIT:

Okay, so you say the route went up an hour, which calculator did you use? The ones here (by frozentoes) automatically calculate for L route status but (as I read) the NRLCA calculators do not. This could be your problem.

i couldn't use the ones by Frozentoes.The info I have was from the counter.I am planning to talk to mgt. tomorrow. I don't understand how a K route could go up an hour and become a J route. Clearly I am not good with "knowledge".That's why I like this site.Someone will have seen this before .

notdeadyet -- At my last post office, manglement would run the numbers when requested by carriers at the end of count. And if needed, again after the review and corrections made, if necessary.
