heres a scenario, your vacation starts december 2nd and ends on the 8th.(already approved) and then you submit a leave request on that day december 1st for another vacation day( like december 26-30). and if you dont get it a respond by that day will it be automatically approved? since 3days has passed?

i wonder if anyone in here have done it.

They can respond even if you aren’t there.
They should date stamp it.
You just won’t get the response until you return(Unless you submit online)

The Usps has agreed to grant leave to rural carriers as part of our benefit package, your pm is rejecting upper Usps manager's decision. You need to grieve that fact. If your pm is so bad at his job that he can't hire/keep rcas working as your sub, then maybe he should suit up and do it. File s grievance, and a letter requesting an rca in 120 days.

we have plenty of subs. its just this certain supervisor is playing around with its power.
yep im definitely grieving it before i load up. this supervisor is one of those sociopath.

The only reason he can deny a leave request is lack of subs. If one was available to work you should have been allowed off. File a grievance today. In the issue/complaint area the question should sau:" Did my manager have just cause to deny my leave request, when rcas were available?"
