Well knowing our union they probably know went from 31 to 3 things for EoS. They gotta help the USPS save money somehow.
So the way it works according to the RRECS doc is that each package has separate office time granted based on its size classification. This time is for handling the package outside of loading it into your vehicle. This may be where they are getting that 1 minute figure from but none of the size classifications grant 1 minute of time for handling. In a round about way a large package could essentially be a minute for getting the 30 second office time on top of actual time loaded but you would receive that regardless of whether or not you "load trucked" itour postmaster announced on the floor that every package that gets scanned with Load Truck during load vehicle time gives you one minute. Let me be absolutely clear that this is completely wrong as far as I can tell (if it WERE true, everyone would instantly be 48K+ the next time RRECS updates evaluations).
She heard it from another postmaster while she was away on a training assignment, and presented it to us as established fact. That's the level of training and communication and transparency around RRECs at the management level.
Picking up any mail off of the floor to load into your conveyance also is done under load time.I just got this today!
Is this legitimate or is this a way to try and make me lower my load time?
Thanks!
