load vehicle and end of shift deems list

I think there's a little sticker in my LLV that says not to use your cell phone......
I remember getting a call on the new scanner from headquarters. I didn't answer. then they called my cell. I didn't answer. I called back after returning to office, they wanted to know know why I wouldn't talk to them while driving 🤦

Sez they wasn't tryin' to set ya' up was they ?

What do you mean at one time? You should hit start load. Load your mail onto your conveyance and proceed to the loading area and load your vehicle. Return conveyance and then end load. When you are in your vehicle and it is loaded and you're ready to pull away and leave the office to serve the route you hit depart. Upon return to your unit you hit j. When you wrap up what you gotta do in the office and are heading to leave the building clock out.
Hit end load right before starting car to get credit for walking to the vehicle. Depart to route right after starting it.

Yes I know all of that . And that was my point last one is credited to. But all the activities are present in MDD . But limitation safeguards are present outside of the MDD to sort out and give credit to 1 scan . However , if you go to usps tracking all 5 scans will show ( I haven’t gone for similar tracking last few years, but I remember from years back all 5 scans Are showing) . So point I was trying to make ( after agreeing with you that load time in between depart and return doesn’t count for credit) these MDD reports and activity logs are not the true snapshots of what we are getting credit for . Something close but not exact . Exact RRECS acceptance snapshot either doesn’t exist or is not available to us
If we are not getting credit for multiple load times, why does the scanner keep asking if we are done loading after hitting it on the route? Shouldn't it drop off the menu?

They think if you load mid day (after you depart to route) that the system doesnt give that data to rrecs. No one REALLY knows for sure what the rrecs system actually receives off our scanners. I am inclined to think they raise a good point and couldnt argue against them with any certainty. I do load mid day sometimes and it does register the times. I cant remember if it gives the over 25 min reminder during those mid day loads. Its been a long while since I had so much volume that it all wouldn't fit and I go back to PO to load more after eating lunch or taking a restroom break there. Be nice if the PO geofence allowed that load time to go to rrecs, but 🤷‍♀️
I am sure there is at least one carrier out there doing load veh to rearrange vehicle contents on street. MAYBE lack of PO geofence wouldnt allow that load time to accumulate, but who knows.
I am talking about geofence like I know thats a trigger for something but in all honesty, all this is beyond my understanding.

I'm on the list daily for EOS time. My PM ignores that list these days; she doesnt even respond to it anymore. And guess what? Nothing has happened! It seems to be a computer generated email that goes out.
If supes and PMs realized that the emails and telecoms can't actually hurt them they would be much happier people and all the employees would work better and be more agreeable as well.

Yes because what's to stop you from padding your load time while out on the route? So the easiest way is to ignore the command if you are in a deptarted state. Much of the work programmers do is anticipating and combating stuff like this.
