Im a new hired RCA and completed training. The training location is 74 miles round-trip. I put this on my green card. The Postmaster told me he doesn't know anything about mileage pay for training. I didn't get paid for it.What can I do?

You do get paid for mileage, unless something has changed. You won't get 74 miles though. You get the difference between what the mileage is to the post office you will be working in and the training facility. IE: 74 miles round trip for training. 10 miles round trip from your house to the PO you will be working in. You get paid mileage for 64 miles.

-- When pay problems arise and manglement claims they have no idea how to solve or correct them, contact the Assistant District Representative.

-- A face-to-face with an ADR usually is quite informative for manglement!

Oh trust me, mgt knows exactly how to get paid for mileage for traveling outside of their own office for meetings etc. it’s called e-travel. Ask that this liar supervisor set it up for you and submit it with the appropriate documentation so you can get paid. At the very least, I vaguely remember the rural academy instructors being told to have the submission form completed last day of training so that it could be returned to PM for processing. Someone correct me here.

We make sure in our academy to fill them out the last day of it, because so many PMs will say just that, we dont know or no you don't get paid, and the truth is "YES" you do. They also pay for hotel if you have to travel more than 50 miles one way and per diem if you stay overnight.
