Monday will be interesting

I learned awhile ago to never answer my phone on my day off. well, today was my day off. pm has been on vacation for two weeks. it was kind of nice actually. pm doesn't come back to work until Monday. But today pm had an rca scheduled on two routes. 40 miles apart in different offices. So, of course they try to call me in. I didn't get the message until noon. So im assuming that one pm or the other had to deliver a route. Now the fun begins. pm will surely pick apart everything I do for the next two weeks because I failed to answer my phone on my day off. some days I love my job.

Politely but firmly let your PM know that you won't have time to be scrutinized because you will be very busy "fixing" all the screw ups on your route. This is , of course, provided your PM did indeed deliver the route. Also, you may wanna check out your PM's time to do the route just to see if the time jives up with the evaluation.

Are you on the RDWL? If so a direct # is required.

Just saying here I am not. I fought the Emergency contact # wording they require and won. My Emergency contact # is for a familiar face. When they call they say... Is he ok? If it's I'm needed to work this # given calls me after 11 am.

Lack of planning, coverage is not an emergency to me. They created and the association agreed to current situation.
