Okay, I will call him tomorrow morning. I fortunately had requested tomorrow off almost a month ago. Thank you for your advice.  </blockquote>
YW !

You might want to call after 9-9:30, he/she might be putting fires out at his/her PO.

There is a Step 4 that was signed 8/3/17 that addresses management requiring RCAs to work in another office. Management can require you to.

Please provide a link, @02bravo - I have been all over the nrlca site as well as this one and cannot find what you are referencing...

Can't figure out how to upload the attachment. It's saying the file is too large. I was only trying to upload the first page. There are 3 pages total.

Is it referencing an APO/RMPO situation?  Because then, yes.

I cannot see an agreement to RCA sharing.

The letter does not mention APO/RMPO. Basically, the letter states that if the union wants to prohibit management's ability to direct and assign rural carrier craft employees, it will need to do so through collective bargaining, not the grievance process. In the absence of any contractual violation, the grievance is denied. Signed by Reggie W. Rabon Labor Relations Specialist

O2bravo, was this letter about the 4th step grievance settlement, given to you by your pm? If so please sent it to your Adr ASAP. There may be something rotten in Denmark, even if you don't live in Denmark.

You can host it on a photo sharing website and then direct link it here.

http://imgur.com is pretty straightforward.

Let me know if this works.  </blockquote>
Yes, it worked. I don't see this as the last word on the issue.

The grievance was denied at Step 4 by the USPS. Its not saying the NRLCA agreed to the USPS findings.

At the very least it should go to arbitration. But with the NRLCA's record there, a different opinion might be wishful thinking.

On my end, this should be over with (or going to get worse? I don't know). Coming off a stressful, previous week with added insomnia, this was enough to trigger a full blow out on my end - I'm not proud of it and I wish to god that I could be normal, but I can't control it. I told them it was really affecting me, they all but directly accused me of faking it and now my office is also a sh*t-show too. My doctor has taken me off work for a week and also written a note stating that the particular office they tried to force me to was clearly negatively affecting my health and triggering a previously controlled and documented condition that I have had long before I started working at the PO. I called my DR and told him the situation. They will try to give me a letter of warning for disobeying a direct order (I've talked to another PM in the office closest to my home and she's 100% certain they won't fire me) and we will grieve it on medical/safety grounds.

Management pretty much lied to me. DR is not okay with this (forcing RCAs) at all. Of course he still has to take the stance to do as told then grieve later to keep people from being fired. I am still collecting information that I can and passing it on to other RCAs that have been forced to go. Most don't even know the grievance process and have been working for less than a year at the PO.

Thank you all for the information. When I am feeling better, I am going to do what I can to help my fellow RCAs.

--  Sounds like you should be informing manglement that you will be contacting the Employee Assistance Program ( EAP ) because you are STRESSED OUT!

--  1-800-ESP-4-YOU...available ( 24/7 )

--  Good luck.

It's beyond being stressed out. I have an anxiety disorder that is documented from well before I started working for the PO and it was managed well until now because I could say no when I needed a break or if I did not want to work at an office in which is known to be hostile and toxic. Obviously the exception had been my home office, but I am fine working there 50+hrs a week because I know my co-workers, my customers and the routes and, most importantly, it's not toxic. In fact, my complaints about my coworker prior to now seem pretty damn petty after all this.

It's gone past EAP at this point. I have provided documentation at work from my doctor and put in a request for reasonable accommodations and been in contact with the EEOC for which there should be mediation between my OIC and I.
