<p style="text-align: justify">As a new PTF is there not paperwork I need to sign besides the one I did terminating myself as a RCA? I start the position this Saturday and it just seems odd to me that nothing else comes to it. Besides the fact that my supervisor isn’t even scheduling me on the PTF routes is another issue. I have a call into our union rep but honestly she isn’t much help.

As a ptf/rca, mngt can use you wherever they need you. You dont really get a route, just as a reg never gets a dedicated sub.
When were you hired as a PTF? The effective date should start on the beginning of the closest pay period. A ptf in my office won it on a Monday and was full fledged ptf that Saturday. If you're worried, you can file a grievance and if foul play, you're start date/back pay will be protected.
