Our office lost amazon during the spring count. Every time we bring up how the routes will impacted, Our union rep and district rep keeps telling us as long as long as you're doing your scans it will be minimal. Are they full of it or not.
For example my 40k route of 610 houses 11.1 miles. Was average about 200ish packages last summer. This summer and spring I was lucky to have 50 packages.
I don’t understand how the routes are not going to drastically fall in time. I just want to know if I need to find child care an extra day a week/if my pay can decrease any more. Was 48k for years till adjustment in 2023, then was 43k this spring hit 40k.
Are they wrong about the routes?
How far can they fall before people lose jobs?
Sorry for the length.
