Official SDO on PS form 3972?

On my ps form 3972, my SDO is on Saturday. I currently have Thursday off and not in a formula office. I want to change Saturday if I could. The form is from 2019 and nothing has changed. Is my official SDO on Saturday?

-- First time I've heard of or seen Form 3972. It appears something manglement uses to determine / show if there is a pattern to unscheduled absences or even "abusing" sick leave.

-- How did you learn of the 3972 - did manglement show it to you? If so - why?

-- Submit a memo to manglement requesting a change your relief day from Thursday to Saturday. BOTH parties have to be in agreement to the change.

-- If a J route, Saturday is the preferred relief day.

I don't think both parties have to agree to sat. This IS our day off. Put it in writing and put the a date of the start of the 2nd pay period second that you expect to be moved . You can file a grievance if they don't switch. Be sure to give time to change. Say 2 pay periods. This gives mgmt time to switch schedule. If not switched in 2 pay periods file grievance. Many things can happen without knowing makeup of office or your seniority. If you are jr and will be forced in you can take a deca 3 and then keep taking Thursdays off ( to please mgnt)(you realizing this will help mgnt) (mutually agreed )(good for you but make it out like it is mgmt idea) using a X day on Thur. If you're not Junior then the junior person will be forced in before you. Now all X days must be taken in same period but in Jan you could save them for up to 12 weeks if mgmt doesn't schedule them.

Every Regular has Saturday as relief day.... UNLESS you and mngt BOTH mutually agree to a different relief day.... if you don't agree to another day, then it's Saturday, in a non-formula office.... tell them you want it moved back to Saturday.... grieve it if they don't agree to move it to Saturday.... js....
