I'm hearing more and more rumblings that this may be an "everybody is gonna count" kinda deal...  so, if that ends up being true, we should do all we can to get ready for it... because, if everybody is counting, then I expect the USPS to take extreme measures to manipulate and minimize the mail during the count... <img title="Frown" alt="Frown" src="https://www.ruralmailtalk.ruralinfo.net/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-smileys/sf-frown.gif" />  </blockquote>
I've been doing this for a year or so. It really helped during Christmas OT Period when mgmt kept on me about making 5 pm. They start in the morning before mail is up and usually gets mentioned once or twice before heading to route. Then we get a reminder text in the scanner. During Christmas it was phone texts and/or calls. During that time I could site having double or triple the scans which usually shut them up. I'm scanning as much as I was during the 2016 count when I was overburdened ?

Been writing down total scans and the spm's on a calendar for a year.....One day I actually only had the same number of scans as my last mail count. Elsewise, It has always been higher, by a bunch. SPM's will also disappear for mailcount...

GEE...If we had a real union......They could do a class action grievance and "supena" all the scan reports for every one of us. If mailcount is lower, then take the actual #'s...You know...a fair days wage for a fair days work.

I know D.B.   There are just some days I like to live in fantasy land.
