Opting in or out?

I'm on the fence as to in or out. Been in to long and seen the carnage with 2 week counts in the spring in Snowbird country. Gained 2hrs territory from AUX, it has added an hour a week to my actual delivery times.

Volume since mini count up. Normal week was 4 trays daily DPS with AUX gain. Now stands at 6-7 for this week. I have noticed it's mostly bulk. Parcel volume up too. I attribute this to the gift card trend.

So who's in or out?

Please just decide, and opt in or out on the day of the deadline. You can flip flop a million times till then". Whatever you decide, if mgt pressures you for a decision prior, tell them to BTFO.

Out, I dont care if I gain a bit of time, I dont trust the whole process.

I know what you mean about the snowbirds, Face. I'm in the same boat. My route is mostly country clubs. Most of the residents are from Florida and Atlanta, and come up here to get away from the summer heat. After New Year's, they're mostly gone, although they'll bounce back and forth on the occasional weekend. They start dribbling back in March, and when the clubs open full-staff in May, it's game on for me all summer long. These precious few months are my reward for busting my tail the rest of the year. My route has nowhere to go but down with a 2-week count at the end of Feb.

I will sign the opt-out form immediately when it's available, and force district management to disagree and make me count.

The "rolling evaluation" that's supposed to happen due to the engineering study has the potential to make routes that fluctuate like mine much more fair. Not holding my breath, but it can't be much worse than it is now.

No choice here. We are Mandatory. I likely would have counted anyway. I get the same number of parcels & scans as I did when I was overburdened in 2016 although I'm a 44K. I'd personally prefer not to go through this and deal with the Steward side of the disagreements that will inevitably be... at the same time. Praying for patience....
