Orange and Blue.

Also, there is this from the P.O.M. There is quite a bit more. From Section 458

Receipt Day Color Code Delivery Day
Saturday Orange Tuesday
Sunday Orange Tuesday
Monday Green Wednesday
Tuesday Violet Thursday
Wednesday Yellow Friday
Thursday Pink Saturday
Friday Blue Monday

You'll see that it is a TWO DAY MAXIMUM.

This all you need to understand how they screw RCAs'. Blue comes Friday, they hold it for Saturday. Orange comes Saturday, they push it out Saturday, with the Blue they held on Friday. It will never happen to me again. I'm not a Regular and I am NOT responsible for mail that is scanned to be delivered on Monday and Tuesday.

Is management doing this/allowing this? Seems it has been every piece, every day since I started. There was one guy in my original office that did this. But seemed he did it on his own and management went along. By Saturday, there was a mountain of flats and flyers for the RCA to deliver. He had a blue box and had to be there by a certain time every day. So I'm betting he used that to use the color system.

Or regulars push the color system if management is pushing 2080/2240?

Well, carriers really have no say as well as no business changing color code days on mail. The system is not referred to as the chameleon color system where we just go slinging a different color code tag on mail just to make it APPEAR to be current. If the mail has a blue tag on it, MONDAY is the latest it can go. It CAN GO SOONER. Don't be afraid to take it on SATURDAY. Like you said @Morty , when everything goes every day, you do not run into these issues. Also, any mail curtailed must be reported by management as delayed mail. I have seen a couple PMs walked out and several supervisors get into some serious trouble over the years for NOT reporting delayed mail.

It is NOT delayed mail. Orange and Blue going out on Saturday when it does not have to go out until the following Monday is not delayed. You know that. I'm letting subs know how they are getting screwed on Saturday. "It can go sooner.." Of course it can, and I bet they get kudos for that. My point is an RCA is to provide a full day of relief, not deliver Regulars Monday and Tuesday mail because they can't make 2080 or they are managements pet. It is the number one way to abuse an RCA on Saturday. Load them up with 3 days of flats that the Regular is supposed to get paid for 2 out of the 3 days. It is BS, pure BS.

So I learned today that either my PM and Clerk don't read what I write here, like I thought, or they were in shock I'd come to work and talk about what I write here.

I have to come off my AUX this Saturday to cover the K and I said I don't want anything that is scanned for Monday or Tuesday. Things really can get quiet enough to hear a pin drop. It isn't just a saying.
