My regular was injured on the job and is back on restricted duty and can only work a partial day. How should I be paid?

If they are able to case only (just guessing) then you would come in late & pull down & run the route. You are hourly when working as Assistance for an injured carrier. Hopefully it won't last long for you. Most situations like this that I've witnessed, it's only been for a week or so. Then the carrier is usually cleared for duty.

The regular is the one coming in late and running one half of the route. Not doing any casing or marking packages.  </blockquote>
That's unusual. Still works the same way, though. You're providing assistance to an injured carrier. May it last no longer than absolutely necessary. I remember when it happened to me as a sub 11 yrs ago. I was so angry at being cut off from a full day but it didn't last long.
