PAYROLL HORROR

UPDATE on the PAYROLL HORROR :

We filed a grievance that went to Step 2. They were given just a warning - no penalty, no interest, no other consequences.
I got a money order the same day; the others got it the next pay day.
It will continue, of course, unless there are real consequences such as SIGNIFICANT interest penalties.
If my son has to work for the Postal Service, I will consider my life an utter failure. Take the pledge with me.

My co-workers and I are wondering -
how often does this thing (payroll process failure) happen ?
Has anyone experienced this in your office?
Is this common or rare?

My husband worked for the school district for 30 years and he said this never happened.
A group of retired carriers (who worked for 20-35 years) said the same thing.
I know it's bad to mess with people's paychecks, but IDK how bad it is ...

I've been with the USPS 35+ years.

As a new hire, they did not generate my FIRST THREE paychecks.
(I had to put out money for work expenses, including ema!)

It got fixed when I put in for a cash advance. Until that happened, management was blithely unconcerned.

I've never seen everyone's payroll not put in. It's unconscionable.
