Yes, they track this. Unfortunately, a huge portion of dues paying members will likely be retired in 5 years. And then, who supports the dues structure? They are incredibly short sighted.
As Table 2ers grow in numbers, and start taking NRLCA leadership positions, it could become interesting.....

Maybe they figure by then.... the old timer Table 2ers will have achieved Table 1 equivalent top pay, and they'll look down on the newer Table 2ers, and declare.... let them EAT CAKE... 🤷‍♂️ 🍰🎂🧁 🤣

All carriers are "seasoned" and case all. Work vertical flat cases. Depending on how packed with curl over from DPS sleeve stuff. 12-15 min avg to work a full tray.
12-15 minutes sounds about right for me. Maybe 10. I had cased 100% of DPS for about a decade so I'm pretty good with it. The AUX carrier next to me is a retiree and pretty good at his job but when he cases his DPS his times are probably double mine.

I've never seen anyone casing full trays in 5 minutes. I really don't see how its possible.

I'm getting a little optimistic about this poll... even the stubborn hailyuns that dominate this forum, 25% are saying they'll vote yes... js... that probably equates to about 80%+ of the less vocal voters... time will tell... even if it fails... I'm thinking the NRLCA will fight for retiring carrier exit bonuses in arbitration.... and, I'm okay with that... 🤷‍♂️ 😊 🤑🤗

Table 2ers aren't allowed in the club. You're assuming there will be enough of us paying dues. Or that the retired will relinquish control. I bet in 20 years, only the table 1 retired will be allowed to vote and hold office.

I haven't met a Table 2 peep that is proud of the unions attitude towards us. I've been publicly scolded by the most esteemed members of our board. How dare I be unthankful for poverty wages during this time of massive profits from parcels.

Yeah,I really wouldn't panic. Mostly people vote for the imaginary money being touted. No one reads the fine points of the contract until too late. I'll be laughing my butt off at the rdwl sweethearts who will vote to cut their pay by $20k🤣 or if I feel particularly difficult, I can put in for every day for the next 2 months and cancel as needed. Top seniority, you know. Normally, I would not play these childish games but, it's been an interesting few months with our cliques.

I guess there are knobs and screws that can be turned, but I'm not sure that hasn't been the case all along... maybe just some new ones.....

Sorta like peeps making a fuss about taking a day of leave for a holiday... that's already been in place for relief days for quite a long time now.... DACA 5, 3, R... pick the one that suits you... now similar with holidays... and, there was nothing that stopped them from mandating holiday peeps ahead of relief day peeps anyways... so it's just a new flavor of the day... if they wanna funk with you, there's usually a way, and vice versa... 🤷‍♂️ 🧐

As I posted on another thread I cased a tray of my DPS this morning in eight minutes And I was being diligent. I taco mayo and I make letters small to large and I look at every piece as I’m doing this so it’s not checking the first number and the last number Is it possible that people can do this in five minutes, I’d like to see it and not just throwing it have some accuracy

Hasn't it mostly always been the case, that they don't want us casing DPS.... 🤷‍♂️ 🧐

Don’t care what they want— it’s my prerogative

It been interesting the last 3 years with more uninformed, tables2 taking ADR positions because they pay based on table 1. One of the reasons for the rapidly deteriorating steward system. I'm not against anyone going into the steward system. But, many are going into after years of not caring about rules simply to get more money or perceived power. Why do you think you have so many carriers double checking their own stewards answers on this board?

Your trays have gotta be near empty! We did timing events with routes around me and averaged a little over 15 minutes per tray.
The lowest was about 12: 30 for a tray.
All of us multi year employees.

I think it is funny ( not really)that you get like 5 minutes ish, when you get a tray of raw mail and claim it, when it takes about 30 to 40 minutes to actually case it.

Over the past ten years, I've made a lot of noise railing against Table 2, at times when many others were mostly silent.... so I've never been a fan of multi-tier pay scales... as it currently stands tho, any raises that benefit Table 1, will eventually benefit all, as everyone will eventually match Table 1 pay, so all raises to Table 1 raise your eventual top pay... so it's not true that it does not benefit you in any way.... imo... just another perspective... 🤷‍♂️ 🧐
Dude, come over to table 2 and say that.
Working the same job, usually a crappy route, we start off on step 1 about $5,000 below step 1 table1 . That is something that should be fixed and made retroactive.

So I cant figure this out...why would all of table 1 get the whole..$.1935... yet it is in increments to table 2??
Not everyone on table one is at top level., so i am confused.

I think you mean Step A Table 1. Step 1 on Table 1 is $14K+ over Table 2 Step 1. In equal years Table 1 Step 1 would be Table 2 Step 5. It is ridiculous that Table 2 pays so much less.

You keep saying "us".

Table 1 gets $1,935 no matter where you are. An obvious buying of votes.

Table 2 gets a percentage of that. Step 1? 6% or $116. And an additional slap in the face is that I believe step 5 is the highest anyone can be? That's 33% or $638.
Actually, Step 10 on Table 2 is maximum possible at this time. This chart was created in 2012 so that was the first possible for any RCA hired just under 2 yrs prior to becoming a Regular.
