Has anyone heard of the possibility that rural carriers pay may change from month to month based on monthly data?

Grow as you go was negotiated into the contract this go around, but failed to happen as USPS failed to implement. As of like a month or two ago, it went live and all is working as agreed. At the end of Mapping the option comes up, alongside the high/low choice.
If you do it properly, it is monthly. If you don't, whwnever i guess. If your management does it behind your back, guess you'll find out now!

It all depends on if your evaluation is close to the hour change. Article 9.2.C.10 has been in this contract for a while. It’s what Rural wanted, not the PO.
Prior to RRECS, our routes could change between mail counts but you had to accumulate 60 minutes of “Bank Time” for the Eval to change. Bank Time would zero out & restart at every Mail Cou t.
With RRECS, we no longer have to deal with Bank Time. Our Eval changes as we add or as we lose Delivery addresses. The MMS resets the Evaluation with Volume Factor and Coverage Factor changes.
Yes supposed to be in affect already my office has another town in are office he was a J and after DPM/LTM mapping he went up to a K 40.But we just had adjustments done after 2 routes were 47k so the boss tried to keep us all to 45k by adjusting the whole office and then we are supposed to be frozen until June of next year but she couldn’t figure out territory to make it happen so we have 2 43K’s and 4 45K’s and one aux route that is 5 hours a day.But are steward thought we would change but he is going to find out for sure on this.He said this new agreement was from 5-26-2026 he sent the 74 pages to my boss and I have a copy that I will have to look over it.The steward did say this was the plan all along I think that’s crazy to have are pay change every month after mapping is done how is it going to be affecting us when we are off and sub is not doing that stuff right on box not being added in I am going to be off for 3 weeks next month and won’t be there to do mapping.

One thing is the system does in fact close addresses if they don’t get mail from dps routinely. I have a few like this and every month the system tries to make them vacant. I do get parcels and flats for them plus wss etc a few times a week minimum. We all just need to be vigilant and do mapping every month plus edit book virtual and physical maintenance.
Most never see it but the PM gets an email monthly asking if a listing of addresses on rural routes are vacant or not. Our PM's ask the carriers, and then replies usually not vacant. If no reply the system is directed to consider it vacant.
Interesting tidbit of information, will definitely be bringing this up to PM. Tired of having to re map box and get it fixed in edit book monthly. No idea when it got dropped and losing the data for whatever time frame. Thank you

Only if you have growth or reduction in addresses , dismount, tcp etc . Volume change positive or negative will not matter — those are still with 6 month mms only . In reality just like pre RRECS old time . Only now it is little bit in our favor —- in old times you had to request for manual interim adjustments even though you are updating your redbook regularly. Now if you update your redbook and mapping monthly for your growth and if that’s put you over to higher evaluation then the adjustment will be automatic. Other than if you are loosing delivery addresses it is a good thing

It did not get dropped
It did, they went to vacant status. Not knowing when it went vacant means data for that time on is not recorded ie dropped. Data during the time is was active I realize still plays a role. It still causes unknown about of time to not be dropped. If it still counts data for vacant addresses that the system closed out would love to see it.

Hmm it actually does not matter much I would think. Unless you are really on the borderline of hour below . You are doing manual update every month anyway, specially during mms month. I would think it will negate the negative effects somewhat. No ?
Really depends when the system changes it to vacant. Mind you I have been frozen for over a year. Right now every second counts. Having conversation with PM tomorrow about the email they get every month. If we look back and see a pattern of dates each month. I can adjust my current routine for mapping edit book webez updates accordingly. Minimize the potential time lost to just a few days or less. It’s more frustrating than anything else that the system adjusts address to vacant and us as carriers are not notified. Separate conversation to have with PM after the main concern gets rectified.
business and apartment boxes close frequently without carrier knowledge unless they do monthly mapping. @Worve is correct. individual boxes get an email, business and apartment units never did when I was watching.

Hmm . I have to keep an eye on my business addresses then . I have about 60 . One third of them gets mail everyday . Then rest gets occasionally. In total average coverage factor is no more than 50%

Did you buy a new car or house 3 pay periods ago? That could be a possibility.
Seriously you need to supply more information. Do you know how to look at your pay statement on ePAYROLL on usps.liteblue.gov? Was your route cut? Did you get a form S-50? Did you get a indebtedness letter from these sobs?
