Proper multiple trips procedure for large pick ups.

On the 48 hours, it balances out because whatever the sub doesn't do on their shift gets done by me the next day so the time balances out eventually
This IS NOT at all bashing the RCA assigned to the route ( sub of record ) or any other RCA serving the route in your absence but you are entitled to a full day of relief. I'm not talking about a handful of letters left for carrier review or a forgotten resume to a hold mail request or things of that nature.

IMO they need to just add a second trip feature and another return2DU event so our time is properly credited to the route.
I agree . While this system was mandated by an arbitrator's ruling, it was "sold" to us by both parties as a way to ACCURATELY record EACH and EVERY action, task, duty , function, etc. This is clearly NOT the case.

Thank you for those letters! I'm going to print them out and mention it to some regulars with bad subs on Monday.

I actually have one of the best subs in the office by far but some others ... not so much. For me it's mostly coming back to the PARS labels being ignored, maybe an empty tray or two left that we're not allowed to leave under our case, hold mail not being put away and "forward/only {insert name}" notes in boxes ignored. Technically some of that's delaying mail, but will anything ever get done?

It's when other subs fill in, if we're both out, that literally needs a possible OIG complaint filed.

We have multiple grievances in for large carrier pickups. Management is now claiming only items over two pounds are recorded for carrier pickups under RRECS and if the label does not have a weight it does not count. Union has no answer on it at step 3

Back to this again. If they want it to be done properly like that, then I need a scale to weight the stuff. Just because label says 1 lb doesn't mean it is that. Plenty of people cheat the system.

But they won't do that because they will have to give us more time.
