PTF Bids.

HI all, so we just had PTF bids close in our office today 22 Oct. when do these go into effect?

Are they delayed 41 days like route posting, or will it be next pay period which is 28 oct?

RCA are curious when they will get their $2 pay raise, and others are curious when they can change to the vacant routes the senior RCA will be leaving as PTF.

-- Here is how it is supposed to go ( page 46 of the contract ):

a. posted for 10 days.

b. shall be awarded within 10 days. ( 31 October )

c. employee will be placed in the new assignment within 21 days. ( 21 November for a drop-dead date )

As manglement usually places a carrier in a new position at the start of a pay period, the placement better by done on 11 November.

There's a $2+ raise from RCA to PTF unless the sub is hire-dated between Nov 2010-Aug 2012 whereas they take a pay cut instead.

thanks to both of you had found it in the contract, but do not know how to delete a post once submitted.

The 41 days I was refferring to was the 10 day up for bid, 10 day award process, 21 days to place in position.

A minimum of 2 to a max of 5. Depending on the shortage of subs in an office, be prepared to work as many routes as your office has.
