Question about final results

I was given my statistics report and asked to sign it, which I did and now my postmaster wants to change the count data because he made a mistake recording the parcels I picked up. Can he even do that?

It was not in my favor and he implied there were a lot of issues within our district. I disagree. I feel really sick because I didn't know most of the parcels I picked up were actually flats. I went to training and this is my 3rd count. UGH.

Probably not but your District can employ what they call "Red Lining" commonly referred to as the "Review and Screw Process"

Keep your copy of the signed form handy, you may need it.

If the PM's changes were to my favor, I would say change away. If not, put up a fight.

They don't have to as it isn't "official" until the data is run on the mainframe. We are only to verify the data on the 4241 and sign where appropriate, if we agree. Most PMs are nice. Yours sounds like a peach. That's where the calculators come in.

But when they're different, then you can zero in on possible mistakes, made either by them or me... I would use a calculator. Make sure entries are correct. Maybe use another calculator ( version of mine or NRLCA's). Then "accidentally" let the PM see it when you turn in your 4241. Then ask "How's it look?" What an ass.

I'm just wondering if I will even see my final report tomorrow; I was given one with the two week totals which we corrected, but it did not have box count, mileage and withdrawal was checked no. I asked for an updated one and was told that info had not been input yet.

As for the final sheet with our evaluations; thanks to ruralinfonet, we all have enough info that we probably know more about our evaluations than our managers.

what makes you think they were flats?? they could have been letters.. both column 20 anyways.. were they associated with mypo pickup?? then they would stay out of column 20 and go into column22.. or were we doing it wrong here.. pretty sure i can read mailcount guide, but they do what they want...

Honestly, I would see if it would change my evaluation, it will change standard hours. Don't know how many you're talking about.

I pick the battles that affect/benefit me the most. If you posted the total we could tell you the impact.

By my calculation changing 100 parcels (pickups) to letters/flats collected is a 5.5 minute loss.

It may only be 5.5 minutes now, but that could be the difference in a 1 hour vs. 2 hour drop if you get an hour plus of negative bank time.

I am on an aux route that went up to a full route (43H) before count I was told that they needed to pad two other H routes to make them J's. Count is over and one of the routes went to a high J and the other a solid J. I have been told PM is still gonna cut me. Is that right? Thanks.
