This is kind of long and convoluted so please be patient with me!
I am currently the senior RCA.
January 2015 I went on a hold down on a regular route for someone out on disability. I had my 90 day probationary period and then went in leave earning status.
November 2017 that route finally went up for bid and the aux carrier bid on and won the regular route above. I became the aux carrier. Again, they put me through a 90 day probationary period before I was on leaving earning status and finally received my built up leave just recently.
My route will likely be going to a H route in a few weeks. If I bid on and win it, i.e stay exactly where I am, but finally because a regular, will they put me through another 90 day probationary period?
Alternatively, we have a carrier retiring at the beginning of June. If the aux route does not go regular, I will bid on and win that route. Again, in terms of leave, etc., will they put me through another 90 day probationary period?
If the answer should be no about either of the latter two situations and someone could provide specific places that I can see that info, I would greatly appreciate it. I had been told previously here that they never should have put me through it again when going from the hold down to the aux so I would greatly like to be educated before the occasion rises again. (And I know it will.)
Thanks so much for your time!
