RCA hold K route losing accumulated AL/SL

I'm a RCA Holding down a K Route and This route was appointed to a regular. Will I lose my accumulated SL and AL if I don't use them?

Congratulation! You should have been given the option to be hourly for the balance of your first guaranteed year. If you just started this pay period that would mean 52 weeks, something to think about under our current conditions it may not be a bad idea!

I think you may need to reread the OP. I don't think carterolife made regular. I could be wrong but that's the way I read it.

Kinda makes sense, don't know if they thought far ahead though.
But I guess RCA's still aren't earning leave, idk.
Also thought if you were making regular at the time, it roll over with you, not sure.

actually, you are supposed to be earning AL now as a 78 so going from a 74 back to a 78 shouldn't trigger the payout for AL balance. SL goes in abeyance and you will need to be a 74, 79, or PTF (76?) within 2 years or you lose it. Also going regular within the 2 years will allow you to keep the SL.

Although this is true, AL earning has not yet started for RCAs so it’s more likely to be paid out up until the PO starts allowing the accrual of AL.
