RCA OT during the O/T period

The sub assigned to the route I deliver asked me whether she would get O/T when she worked my relief day, or would she only get the O/T, if she goes over 40 hours for the week.

Thanks

Rca's get overtime anytime they work over 40 hours, get evaluation anytime they work under 40. Unless they are in their first 10 weeks/5 pay periods when they get paid for every hour they work, over evaluation or just training.
I think you missed a step there, once we go over 40 we drop back to hourly pay not evaluation, then if we make WAY over 40 to make up for our hourly pay vs evaluation pay we get OT and will benefit us. We are in a small office and once a sub lost money by getting 43 hours.

Also, RCAs get OT when/if they work over 12 hours in one day.

NOTHING changes for RCAs during the Christmas OT Period Since overtime is possible all year round.
Regs only get OT when they go over their evaluation for the week during Christmas OT. Requested time off counts as a days evaluation. Year-round Regs get OT for working over 12 hours in a day or over 56 hours in a week.

This is something that should be addressed in the future contract negotiations! RCA's should be paid hourly for every hour worked during the X-mas overtime period for Regular Carriers. Additional hours are required to complete daily deliveries therefore RCA's should be compensated for actual hours worked.

RCAs are paid actual time during the Christmas overtime period. Evaluation (actual if over 40) the rest of the year
Only if on an aux route as a 79.

Otherwise, it's business as usual.

I know this is from last year. Only the dates have changed.

I'm Aux carrier as 78, started September 16 and in my 90 days now. I carry 6 days AUX route. I wonder I'm gonna be hourly during Christmas OT time or not. Anybody knows?

Between evaluation and 40 hours they will lose if the work "too fast" but I believe what I posted above still holds true.

Remember the post about RCA who worked under eval every day and on 6 day the had done it but then the PO sent them back out JUST to cause them to go over 40 and drop back to hourly? That is the point I am making.
