Rca pay at end of 2018 contract.

If I recall correctly, at the end of the last (2010-2015) contact, there was some sort of SNAFU and delay with getting the RCA's COLA rolled in to their pay... so, better luck this time around... <img title="Confused" alt="Confused" src="https://www.ruralmailtalk.ruralinfo.net/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-smileys/sf-confused.gif" />

Buckle -- "Does anyone know what the new [ COLA roll-in ] rate will be."

--  Has not been published yet, at least not at the NRLCA home page.  Too much national convention material to cover to worry about the COLA roll-in.

--  "D.B." is correct.   With a 3+ year lead in, EAGAN had "computer glitches" that delayed COLA roll-in payments to some RCA's/RCR's for a few months.

--  With only 28 months to prepare this time, EAGAN may experience some "glitches" that could affect the August 2018 COLA roll-in for RCA's and RCR's.

--  The COLA rate will be rolled into RCA/RCR hourly rates during the first full pay period of August 2018.  That would be PP17-2018.  Covering 04 - 17 AUG 2018 and would be seen in pay checks on 24 AUG 2018 --  for those employees on the rolls prior to 11 AUG 2012.

--  The previous COLA roll-in was based upon $1830 COLA increases for the 2010-2015 contract period.   And was worth 0.88 / hour.  ( 1830 / 2080 = 0.8798 )

--  From what I could find, these are the COLA amounts for the ( shorter ) 2015-2018 contract period:

03 SEP 2016 = $21 / 04 MAR 2017 = $333 / 02 SEP 2017 = $270 / 03 MAR 2018 = $520  for a total of $1144, which divided by 2080 = 0.55 / hr.

--  Anyone with additional info, please jump in here.

Don't forget that this is only for the Schedule 3 RCAs. My office doesn't even have any. All of our RCAs are Schedule 4 as the timeline for going Regular is 2-3 yrs.
