Welcome to the Post Office. RCAs are the lowest of the low; basically, whale sh*t on the bottom of the ocean. I'm one of those who gets the $4 more an hour than you, but yet people in my office with less time, and and a lot less experience, are now regulars. All because I moved 3500 miles away to take care of my parents. It's not like I moved to the next town specifically to take a job away from another RCA!! Technically, I have 5+ years on them, yet I'm still an RCA. And they will always have seniority over me for the best routes when I do, if ever, become regular, even though I make more money per hour than they do. It's a postal thing. The union reps don't give a crap about the RCAs/next generation of Regulars.

Wow, talk about weird situations... so if you were hired before 2010... and will be on the Table 1 pay chart when you make Regular... then you'll be making more at Step 1 than all of the other Table 2 Regulars in your office will EVER make... even tho they're senior to you... DOH!?!? That's sort of ironic, and funny as well... as you said, it's a postal thing... it ain't sposed to make sense...
