RCA question

I have been an rca for a few years now. The last couple weeks no subs in my office have been scheduled for amazon. Yesterday our pm tried to call us all in to work and only a couple answered. Today he came into the office yelling and berating the ones who didn’t answer the phone in front of the whole office! I definitely feel like 1) I don’t have to answer my phone if I’m not scheduled and 2) that that was piss poor management. Is their something we can do aside from trying to file hostile work environment?

rcatn -- Politely ( or otherwise ) tell the PM that rural carriers are NOT on call.

-- Since no one has been scheduled for Amazon, no reason to hang around the house. ( a head's up that there might be a need for Amazon work might have been helpful )

-- There is a Step 4 ( J00R-4J-C03011368 ) in part: There is NO requirement for RCA's to be on standby or to wait by the phone to be called in to work.

-- For future reference, have everyone write up what transpired with the PM and his "yelling an berating" including exact verbiage.

-- Give your Assistant District Representative a heads up about filing for a hostile work environment.

Sunday scheduling is to be done off of an alphabetical list, 1st of the rca' s that volunteer, then those that don't. Sounds like no one volunteters so it would be one list in alphabetical order. If there are any ARC'S they work first before all volunteers or mandated Rca's. If you aren't scheduled then your pm dropped the ball, scheduling is management's responsibility, and done in written form so there is no "phone problems".
