r_becker -- " How do I go about getting the pay I should have gotten [ for working the 1st 5 pay periods ] and how long do I have to do this?"
-- How many hours did you work for the week? One one route or more than one? If over 40 hours, that might be a problem. See below.
-- Politely point the shortage out to manglement.
-- If manglement says "Ooops, my bad.", then request the shortage show up in the next pay check. If the shortage does not show up, contact the office steward. If no office steward, contact the Assistant District Representative about going ahead with a grievance to be "made whole".
-- In fact, contact either as a heads up that manglement is not entering the correct pay data.
"Also, if carrying routes you’ve never done before, should you get the evaluated amount or actual hours? "
-- ANY time you run a route you never have run before - or have not run in over a year - you get actual time.
-- So it is a good idea to keep a log of routes run and the date it was done - just in case manglement is not aware of the "one year" rule.
