RCA Transfer

Once you are assigned to a primary you are in the office pool of RCAs. Since RCAs belong to the office not the route; you may be assigned to fill in vacancies due to annual or sick leave on any of the other routes. You should be able to get extra hours without too much trouble as several of the routes are short of subs.

CherokeeRHD - Print this, have them sign off on it & its a done deal!
I turned in a transfer request on 11/4 and made sure a clerk date stamped it. Was supposed to get an answer on 11/6 but never heard a thing until I kicked the hornets nest. Union said to have the PM's communicate and come up with a date so I notified my PM. 12/7 is my transfer date and the supervisor called to schedule me for J2 (route they determined). I said I have no problem working that route/day but don't want to be the primary on it. Contacted the union on Tuesday and no response.

I have already been filling in (J days/AL) at this office since October on J1 (route I asked to be assigned to). The disadvantage for myself could be because I know all 5 of the routes there.... If I just knew J1 maybe I would be placed there! Lol
