RCA's reimbursements ?

Today, the sub of record on my route texted me and said her and the other RCA's were told they had to go to another PO approx 20-30 miles from the PO they are assigned to. I know, they are supposed to get paid miles from assigned PO to where they are being sent to. Of course, she was going to do her best to get out of it, who wants to work at a PO you have never worked in and throw darkness on top of that. I told her to go slow as she could, and to perhaps call the PO to see if they still need her.

Do the RCA's get paid for the miles back to the PO when they are done ? Or is it the usual PO screw job ??

mileage OVER the “usual” commute is paid to & from. If that RCA lives closer to the borrowing office, they get no paid mileage.

Do the RCA's get paid the time it takes to get to the PO that are stuck going to, or is it "built in", ha ha ?

I know this is probably asking to much of the selectively CHEAP po to us, but how about the time it takes to go back to your assigned PO ?

RCA’s are paid round trip either from your regular office or from your home. Whichever is closer. As mentioned above, if you live closer to the office you are traveling to than you do to your home office no mileage paid.
I’m not sure what you mean by “built in” but I would always use Google Maps to calculate my round trip mileage usually from my home office because it was closer to the borrowing office.

FYI it’s usually paid once a month if you have a PM who knows what they are doing. Some management don’t know how to input mileage or just don’t care enough to so make sure to hound them about it.
