Reg asking for RCA

So much has changed since being RCA so our new RCA who I have recommended this site but hasn't had time. 1. Does the PO still supply us our strobes? She is currently using my old spare that is not strobing correctly as PM has pointed out. 2. Is it 5 weeks or 10 weeks of pay for actual time. PM is stating it is 5 weeks RCA thought it was 5 pay periods which would be 10 weeks. 3) Any guidelines for being slow and termination. After 5 weeks PM is stating she should be able to do the re route in evaluated time? LOL yes,I am going way way out of my way to keep our only sub and she is not even my sub technically.

Not sure about the strobe, I bought my own. RCA is right it’s 5 pay periods! Depends how much is she working the route? One day a week? Nope not in my opinion, with Amazon everything changes. Heck we have a sub that’s averaged two days a week on the route (41K) since he’s started 14 weeks ago and still can’t get back before 6.... but at least he’s finishing it now..

They used to supply strobes, they even had someone fix them at one time, that was the good old days. I just can't see newbies having all this expense to start a job. PM already said they don't supply strobes any more, that is why I am double checking. I have the runner on my back instead of a strobe. She actually has been getting 3x a week out of the 5 weeks, she straddles and that is what seems to be slowing her down. We are not an Amazon drop office either, just dump from UPS and FED. I hate to tell her to get pedals to help her out and then get terminated. We also have an Aux route that they are pulling in another RCA from a different station instead of bringing her in. Sad too because she is not getting a bunch of phone calls on misdeliveries which I as a regular would love to have as a sub.

Oy, I would say how bad does she want the job? I started straddling lasted two days and figured out it wasn’t gonna work. I’m short and fluffy ? I wanted this job, it fits me very well, so I would say if she wants it she should go for. Worst case she’s terminated and she hires on somewhere else.

-- How can one tell if a strobe light is not operating ( strobing? ) properly?

"Any guidelines for being slow and termination."

-- Just what even manglement wants to make up.

-- Don't know if a reminder to manglement that the PMG said in 2015 "that RCAs are to be retained at all costs."

-- Also mention to manglement they better have a good list of reasons for the firing in their letter to the PMG. They should also list what actions they did to help the RCA improve performance. ( probably a letter is not needed, but they might not know that! )

It has a short have to keep messing with it I would assume when she is getting in and out she probably is hitting it causing it to go out. Do you know if PO is supposed to be supplying strobes? Yes I have mentioned to PM of PMG retaining subs, her response was something about that was years ago, I also stated they are following up on those that have left, and the performance would fit this, I haven't seen anyone trying to help improve performance, she was casing DPS helped with the straddling having 1 bundle, they are making her take it to the street now stating it is taking her to long. At this point, they seem to do everything except help, she is slow and they want someone fast. They obviously don't care if we get a day off, just so long as they get theirs. Maybe PMG needs to work PM on routes especially their day off for about 6 months and let's see how they look at any sub that is willing and wanting to learn this job.
