I am thinking about getting a RHD vehicle and I wanted to know from the people who own them if you use them for every day use too? I need to get a different car anyway and although I am on a LLV route, there are a couple POV's routes in my office that I can't sub on and it would open up more work for me, but I don't know if it's weird to drive around a RHD vehicle when I'm not delivering mail?

I used to drive my RHD Jeep around a bit as my regular car. Hardly anyone noticed, and I thought it was fun.

the one thing i would caution about, would depend on the type of roads you mainly drive. driving roads that are two lanes or more each direction, is no problem, but driving roads that are only one lane each direction, brings a hazard to passing, that you won't understand, till you do it. your 75% in the opposite lane, before you can see around the slow moving truck. driving rhd's for delivering mail, is the ultimate, though.

I drive my RHD wrangler around town, when I cannot use my wifes car.

Its no big deal driving it, however, I want to use it as little as possible, because my route is about 80 miles/day

In addition, the gas mileage is bad !
