Myself and 2 other carriers have been working every Saturday. We all are on the rdwl. I wasn’t scheduled to work last Saturday and now again this coming Saturday. Can I grieve this and also they have been splitting a route every Saturday see attached picture. If I can grieve what do I grieve?

Thank you for the response but I’m sorry I had to edit my post. I corrected the post. I wasn’t scheduled to work last Saturday nor scheduled this Saturday. But the other 2 regulars worked both Saturdays. So how would I word my grievance because I know it has to be in question format? I know we are to rotate but they aren’t allowing me to work my relief day all of a sudden. I know the mandating to split a route every Saturday isn’t allowed either.
Well, the language is in Article 8 of The Nat'l Agreement ;

When a regular rural carrier is needed to work a relief day, due
to the unavailability of a leave replacement, the Employer will:

1. Select carriers on the list, in order of seniority on a
rotating basis,

Take a gander at the order of consideration. You'll see that the regular carriers on the rdwl are #9 in the order. You'll also note that in #8 ,

(NOTE: The NRLCA position is that the term “on some occasions”
does NOT include scheduling multiple assignments or splitting
routes on a repeated or on-going basis.)

So, that "mandated to split one route EVERY Saturday" would be in direct conflict with the position of The NRLCA.

You could go with something like " Is management in violation of The Nat'l Agreement by bypassing me in the rotation while on the RDWL ? "

Thank you. I’ll have them sign off on it Monday.
