Route Adjustment and Effective Date

So we are being cut and was told end of May was the effective date. Now they saying end of July. That’s like 3-4 weeks from the next MMS. Is that even possible? What’s the latest date you can have before the next MMS or what’s the latest date you guys have? I went to check on Form 50 and found nothing. This whole thing is very strange. Thanks
 
Be thankful if they get it done right before a mms. It means 1 year and a week or so being frozen. vs potentially 18 months or about that. If it gets finalized right after I am sorry it’s going to suck without growth.

End of July is good for you actually. That way you will be frozen for a period of 14 months as opposed to 16 months in other case

We understand that but some of us wanted earlier so can gain too. I know is a give and take situation but I just found it weird. Why a few weeks from the next MMS? This whole situation seem fishy from the beginning. Every routes that suggested what they wanted to cut got what they wanted and all of them end up being 43k. What’s the odd? We were giving nothing as confirmation but just what management said. Hint why I said I had to check my form 50. The only thing we got from them was it was approved from district or whoever that approved it. Then why the date was changed if it was already approved? So what we were thinking was could be all a lie. Next they will probably say so close to next MMS and it got cancelled and forget it. Could that be a possibility?

When a cut happens, by contract it can cut down to 43k only . No more than that . Shorter period of freezing is good . Even many of you who are gaining will find out soon as this adjustment is pretty much preRRECS old fashioned adjustment. So this is not perfect . Those who are getting territory from really overburdened route you will get more work than pay . If it involves a new big pick up address it might be really unfair for you . Shorter period of frozenness is fairer

The MMS will mean nothing once the Adjustment is effective.
Your form 50 will not change until after your route actually changes.
Hopefully, you made a copy of your observations that were submitted to mgmt for correction. If/when the adjustment does happen, submit the edit book if still incorrect & map the route after 2 weeks. If the difference will advance the route to the next hour then file your grievance. If the differences aren’t enough to make it to the next hour then it’s a moot point. Coverage factor plays a large part in this process so what used to be enough to move the needle may not be now.

I didn’t know the form 50 only update after the effective day. As I said before this whole thing seem suspicious so I am trying to find as much information as possible. As for increasing to the next hour, can a dispute in office walk cause that increase? I thought only new growth can cause an increase. So incorrect mapping also warrants one?

I was trying to find more info using the Pending Route Adjustment File but is only for up to 4/26. Is there an update version?
