sector segment and DPS on the same route?

i don't think there is any ratio to make all your letters dps, but at one time dps for apts., trailer courts, etc. came for a like address without apt. number or trailer lot number in correct order. it was sector segment. i think most of that has been fixed, but i wouldn't doubt it still exists somewhere.
70% sector segment, sounds like some edit book work is overdue.

Years ago when DPS 1st began, I thought it was either/or; that you got DPS or you didn't and then it would be counted as sector segment.

Just be careful what you push for. If you challenge they may clean it up and you end up with all DPS.

From what I remember, you have to receive 2400 pieces of DPS per week to be considered a route that qualifies to be a DPS route. It looks like you barely met that standard .If you do meet the standard, I would file for a DPS quantity review right after count.

My question would be if total letters per day averaged 1200 than the 30 % not considered sector segment would not meet the 2400 piece standard for DPS. But if Pappamalo has 2400 DPS letters plus the 900 to 1500 sector segment letters; can you have both?

Sector segment mail is for routes with multiple residence addresses with a letter space #, or space #'s out of order on your route, (neither can be put in DPS order ),or for routes that have failed a DPS review . If the mail mentioned isn't DPS'ed, or in sector segments, it is raw letters. I believe, if the edit sheet is up to date, and this is happening, where the DPS doesn't meet the 2400 piece threshold, the whole route should be sector segmented, except the 30% raw mentioned.
