I work in a small office that is overseen
by a PM in another office. I've been the RCA for approximately 2 years. The other office has a RCA who has been there approximately 12 years. For the past year, the PM has been asking that RCA to come train at this PO when I'm not available, which she has been refusing (she has never trained). RC is retiring at the end of the year, and she (RCA whose had 12 yrs) informed me she has seniority and will get this job. Am I able to bid/ voice concerns about me as the RC? Thanks.

Is this deja vu? Thought this question was asked and answered recently.
Simple answer is yes you can bid/voice concern. And yes the other RCA and any RCA in the other office that has been there longer than you has seniority over you even though they have never worked in that office. Not a good position. Bid correctly and hope no one else does, assuming the other RCA isn't actually a PTF.

If this retiring carrier is in your office how can a carrier in another office get the position over you, that is if you are the senior carrier in your office. Are the offices linked together because of the PO being over both.

I do not know how to/if a merge is able to be done, so not only is this thread being moved to the proper location, but locked as well since it is basically a dupe. :)
