Should I just let it go?

I'm an RCA and I have to keep track of all my hours worked. Well, I had Saturday as an annual day. When I looked at my pay stub its missing this annual day. With the day I would have an extra 5 hours of overtime. I wasnt charged for my annual so I guess its a wash. Should I pursue the annual day for the extra compensation or would the taxes just eat up the extra money?

Yeah, basically they're not gonna pay you any OT on leave hours...

And, I know it gets tricky during the NO-OT Christmas period, where they look at leave as contributing toward your supposed work hours... but, when it comes to pay, again, leave does not count toward pay for OT (for an RCA)... pretty sure about this, but if I'm wrong, I'm sure somebody else will say something...

So, imo... I'd say let it go... no harm, no foul... you still got your leave to use at a later date... jmho...

Hey...do rca's get annual?? I was an rca for 2 yrs and I never accrued annual OR sick days..

Never let anything "go". As you have been shown you probably don't "deserve" the 5 hours of overtime, your pm/supervisor may not know that. Show them how you believe that you should have been paid 5 hours of overtime, but if they would add 3 hours of overtime to your next weekly hours you would be fine with that and wouldn't have to file a grievance. This sometimes works and I look at it as a "type" of settlement.
